Is therapy for me?

The short answer is yes! 
Whether you are feeling an urgent need or just curious about it, therapy is a great way to get to know yourself better, to navigate life's challenges, to improve your relationships, and to improve your quality of life. It is never too soon or too late to get started.

Do you offer sliding scale rates?

Yes, limited sliding scale rates are available for those who are experiencing financial hardship. Rates will be discussed during your initial consultation phone call and confirmed before your first appointment.

How long is each session?

Each session is 50 minutes long. Extended sessions of 100 minutes are also available. Weekly sessions are recommended for the first few months. The frequency of sessions is open for discussion and re-evaluation along the way.

Where is your practice located?

Radiant MFT is currently a virtual practice based out of Seattle, WA. See a specific clinician's profile from the About page to see which states they are licensed in to provide services.

What can I expect for the 15-minute phone consultation?

Your 15-minute complimentary phone consultation is for us to get a sense of whether or not Radiant MFT services would be a good fit for your needs. We'll briefly review your reasons for seeking therapy, goals for therapy, answer any questions you may have, see if we're a good fit for each other and also review logistics for getting you started (e.g. confirm session rate, schedule first appointment, and discuss initial paperwork).

INSURANCE: We are Out-Of-Network (OON) providers and can provide a superbill for clients to submit to their insurance company for OON reimbursement. Please confirm OON coverage with your insurance provider if you wish to use this option. If you reside in NY, please confirm with your insurance company that your OON coverage includes services providers who are out of State. 

CANCELLATION POLICY: At least 48 hours notice is required for cancellations. ​At least 12 hours notice is required to reschedule a session within the same week of your originally scheduled session. Missed sessions, late cancellations or inability to reschedule your session within the week will result in being charged the full session fee.
