The challenges that you face as you go through life do not define who you are, but contribute to the uniqueness of your individual story.
While obtaining my Master’s in Social Work, I had the opportunity to work with youth who have experienced trauma, mental, emotional, and behavioral challenges, supported family units who have children that suffer from mental, emotional, and behavioral challenges, as well as provided crisis triage to adults who were faced with crisis situations and who suffered from depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation.
My goal as a therapist is to provide clients with a warm, confidential, and safe space that supports healing and wellness as they address their life challenges. Additionally, I explore the biological, psychological, socio-cultural, environmental, and developmental factors that influence your individual experience.
The primary focus of my work is with teens and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. I also work with families in supporting them to address generational trauma and navigating challenges impacting the family unit.
I use a variety of therapeutic approaches that include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey.
